• I already purchased an SSL Certificate from another provider, can I use this one instead?
• Yes! Though we do offer and recommend our in-house SSL certificates, you may instead use one provided by a third-party. You can install your own certificate through your website’s cPanel dashboard (Admin area > Developers > cPanel Dashboard). Once you have successfully installed your own certificate, simply submit a support ticket requesting that we enable the settings necessary for your website to route traffic to HTTPS.
• There is no charge if you purchase and install your third-party SSL certificate on your own. Please note that Brilliant Directories cannot provide support for the self-installation of third-party SSL certificates. However, our Support Team is able to assist with any issues you may encounter with the Managed SSL Security add-on purchased directly through Brilliant Directories.
• Can I use Brilliant Directories credits to purchase Managed SSL Security?
• Yes, credits may be used to purchase Managed SSL Security.
• Can I transfer my SSL certificate if I change my domain name?
• Yes. With the Managed SSL Security add-on, you will be prompted to install the new SSL certificate automatically during the domain-change process.
